Hello, my name is Bill Greenfield. I am an Independent Facilitator and Education Specialist, with a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology. I have been working with persons with disabilities for over 25 years. I am experienced in helping people identify their goals and dreams through person-centered planning. As an Independent Facilitator, I can also help you through the process of entering the Self Determination Program, including person-centered plan creation, support with your IPP meeting, spending plan development, assistance with finding providers, and help with determining which FMS model is best for you. I can also provide ongoing support after you have entered the Self-Determination Program.

Currently, your Regional Center contracts with vendors to provide services. However, these vendors are often limited in terms of the amount and types of contracted services they provide, which can create difficulties in meeting the unique needs of individuals with disabilities.
The Self-Determination Program is a new option available to Regional Center Clients. This program allows clients to take control of their own unique goals and dreams, by giving them control over where their regional center funds are directed and spent.
I can assist you with entering the Self Determination Program. From the initial request to developing the Person Centered Plan, finding services that fit your needs, creating your spending plan, and supporting you at your Individual Program Plan (IPP) Meeting, I am here to help you every step of the way. I can also provide you with ongoing support after you enter the Self Determination Program.
With over 25 years of experience working with individuals with special needs, I have learned that each person’s circumstances are unique. I offer personalized consulting in the areas of employment, post-secondary education, independent living, transition assessment/planning, and public benefits.
Through the consulting process, I guide individuals with disabilities toward receiving the services, resources, and public benefits that best fit their unique needs.
